Behind Charlotte Olsson’s joyful art an important message is hidden. It’s all about using what already exist and to be careful with the earth’s resources. Out of respect for the recycled materials she sculpt her art from, she only create originals – never any prints or copies. So if you have a piece of art by Charlotte, you can be sure that it’s exclusive for you only.
Inspiration
Charlotte always lets the recycled materials she sculpt her art from speak to her. They tell her their story. A story about where they come from, where they have been and what they want to become. Joy, colors, love and humor are aspects that contributes along the way. Round, unsharp, playful shapes are significant with Charlottes art, and off course the colorful splashes.
Exhibitions
You can find Charlottes art represented in both private and public collections. She has previously shown her at The Hollywood Road Gallery and Decorative Art Fair in London, The Gallery at Gothia Towers in Gothenburg, Gallery Scandinavia in Stockholm etc. Charlotte is also one of very few Swedes who have had a grand solo exhibition at the European Council for Human Rights in Strasbourg.
